PROCESS
RISO is a technique invented in Japan in the 1940s. It's a machine-based printing technique that prints in layers with specific soy-based inks that provide way more vibrant colours and effects than any normal printer. Riso only prints one colour at a time, so multiple coloured pieces are printed layer by layer, creating a nice overlapping and misregistration effect.

For my riso works I draw the images on paper or digitally, then scan them and print using a riso printer.
